About Noam
A Lancaster native, Noam returned to the Antelope Valley to join Simulations Plus as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in 2021. Drawing on his modeling, teaching, and computational experience and clinical background, he works to support the Simulation Studies, Simulation Technologies, and Learning Services departments. Noam has a passion for developing the software, applying models to clinical case studies, and training the next generation of users.
He received his Pharm.D. and M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy. While at USC, Noam managed the school’s computational chemistry lab, where his research focused on developing software to predict solvation of crystal structures. Passionate about education, he has taught in several computational drug design courses, including teaching the use and application of GastroPlus and ADMET Predictor to USC and international students. Additionally, Noam has worked to develop custom educational software for teaching pharmacology and clinical decision-making, with a focus on how software can be used to complement the human element of teaching to improve educational outcomes.
In his spare time, Noam enjoys board gaming, woodworking, and taking care of his family’s cats, dogs, goats, chickens, tortoise, and emus. He also likes fishing, but isn’t very good at the catching part.
