About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Dahlen is a Senior Staff Engineer at Simulations Plus, where he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, in collaboration with other Simulations Plus teams, to develop and manage technical processes to improve the customer experience with the software. Additionally, he is involved in the implementation of automated software testing procedures to support programming staff with quality assurance and quality control activities.
Jeffrey has served in a number of roles since first joining Simulations Plus’s founding company, Words+, Inc., in 1985. Jeffrey designed talking and writing machines for people with disabilities in the Words+ division, including those used by Professor Sir Stephen Hawking, eventually becoming President of the Words+ subsidiary before its divestiture. He also served as Director of Computational Technologies where his team members made key science and engineering contributions to the major GastroPlus® 10.0 upgrade and to the PKPlus™ product.
Outside of Simulations Plus, Jeffrey has designed computer hardware, software, and human interfaces on a variety of projects, including work on the world’s largest spectrum analyzer for NASA’s Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence project, work on the prototype that became the Redbox DVD kiosk, and others. Jeffrey has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
