About Qi (Joy)
Qi (Joy) Yang, Ph.D., is the Assistant Director, Pharmacometrics at Simulation Plus. Dr. Yang received her Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto. During undergraduate studies, she did a one-year internship in the Clinical Pharmacology Department of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. After graduating with her Ph.D., she worked as a scientist at Certara for more than three years.

Dr. Yang has more than 9 years of experience in population pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling, and simulations with preclinical and clinical data. She has extensive clinical research experience to support PK analysis of small and large molecule drugs (monoclonal antibodies). Dr. Yang is also an advanced user of PK software including Monolix®, NONMEM®, WinNonline®, and is proficient with statistical software (R®).
