About Kai
Kai Shen is a Senior Scientist at Simulations Plus, where his focus is on the scientific software development of the upcoming version of GastroPlus® (GPX). Prior to his current role, he was a tech lead at Aspen HYSYS group in Aspen Technology, a leading industrial software company in the oil and gas industry. He has 10+ years of experience in process system engineering, scientific computing, optimization, and machine learning. Kai has his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
