About Destiny
Dr. Simpson received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in May 2023. Her graduate research involved characterizing a protein important for B and T cell development, recombination activating gene 2 (RAG2). As an undergraduate, she was a Dorrance scholar and B.S. dual majored in Microbiology & Chemistry at Northern Arizona University (NAU) in 2017.
