This ASCPT webinar is Part 2 of 4 in the Systems Pharmacology Educational Webinar Series. This session will provide a collection of case studies to exemplify the application of quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) to address model-informed drug development (MIDD) questions across the whole spectrum from discovery to recovery including both efficacy and toxicity.

Topics will include:

  • Application of a QSP model of IBD to prioritize combination therapies
  • Application of QSP modeling in reverse translation
  • Leveraging the QSP model to support clinical development of T-Cell engaging Bispecifics
  • Phase 2 simulations intended to obviate clinical studies needed to address US Food and Drug Administrations Fixed Combination Rule

Learning Objectives: Understand the breadth of applications of QSP in end-to-end drug development. Highlight applications of mechanistic modeling to accelerate drug discovery and development. Unveil the use of mechanistic modeling to enhance preclinical translatability and decision making.
