About Manas
Manas Shah is a Director, Simulation Technologies at Simulations Plus, where he is involved in the scientific software development of the newer version of GastroPlus (Version 10.0 or GPX). Within this project, he has made numerous contributions in development of the core models of the software and has been responsible for the development of IVIVC module and several additional dosage route modules. He has 10+ years of industrial R&D experience in computation modeling and scientific software development. Prior to Simulations Plus, he worked as R&D manager at Aspen Technology, Inc, focusing on the development of several process simulation software tools utilized in the oil & gas industry.

Manas holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and graduated with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He also worked as a post-doctoral research associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the area of molecular modeling of pharmaceutical crystallization.
